I would second John's opinion that the slight power loss you're experiencing comes from the gutted cat. As explained above when you gutted the cat you've reduced back pressure AND "low end" torque in favor of higher RPM power output. This would have been a good mod for the supercharged engine...

Yes, for cool season temperatures below 40F at least 5 mins minimum. Also if you have not driven your truck for a few days in any temperature. I realize not everyone here is a proponent for engine/tranny warm up but it certainly kept my truck healthy.

They make great toys but the stock motor leaves something to be desired. Throw in a diesel :)
