    2017 4runner (no 6th gen)

Yeah, I know. Forums are terrible places to make conversation. Much better to discuss colors of the TRD. Toyota's website blows. Carry on, you don't need new readers here, I see.

    2017 4runner (no 6th gen)

Oh really? Then what does the Limited get you nowadays? Just real leather and the cosmetic stuff?

    2017 4runner (no 6th gen)

I have a 2007 Limited and am in the market for a 2017. After looking at the 2016's, I hate the Limited grill and wheels. Does the TRDPro come with any of the luxury features of the Limited - heated seats, sunroof, navigation, etc? I can do without leather. I don't like fabric seats but I...

    Bluetooth Phone contacts transfer?

But the part of the instructions that say (NAV): "Refer to the manual that comes with the cellular phone for the details of transferring data." There is no way on the iPhone to initiate the transfer that I know of.

Anyone have factory Nav and Sirius?

No, mine does that too. Even tall trees will blank it. I guess the unit doesn't buffer the stream.

Anyone have factory Nav and Sirius?

To anyone that has the factory navigation system in a 2007 - is there any way to change the display for Sirius? The artist and track title are limited to 10 characters it appears and it's extremely annoying.

    Cup Holder Light

The cupholder lights are definitely a plus and not a gimmick to me. The frustrating thing about my 2007 Limited is that the door lock button isn't lit so if someone is standing the in the dark trying to get in, I have to fumble around feeling for the door lock. Also, the garage door opener...

Traded in my 04 4runner for an MDX

The MDX was my 3rd runner up. It ended up coming down to the 4Runner Ltd or the Lexus GX470. My wife and I both felt the MDX was too car-like. We liked the idea of stepping up into something. We also have two dogs so the added space was a factor. Otherwise, the MDX is the best vehicle of...

OK - Ready to buy - need advice

Definitely $1500 well spent. The nav unit is more than just a map. But even if it was "just a map," it's an incredibly useful feature by itself. I personally didn't want boxes or wires hanging around so I went with the nav and the Sirius.

    Consumer Reports April Auto issue

Exactly. The term "SUV" has been bas****ized and encompasses everything from a Subaru Forester to a Navigator XL. Having just purchased a new 4Runner, the choice for SUV's as I define them were slim. It's either humongous vehicles like the Tahoe or re-badged minivans like the CX-9. My...

Enable SAT on 2007 4Runner Nav

The 2007 4Runner Limited I just got came with the factory navigation. It did NOT come with either Sirius or XM. How hard is to add the necessary hardware to enable the SAT button for Sirius? Or is it best left to the dealer? The dealer is asking $650 to do it. Seems a bit steep since it's...

    Shortage?

To put closure on this thread, I drove 60 miles today and picked up my brand new 2007 4Runner Limited with Navigation. The 60 mile trip allowed me to use the nav system right away. Navigating those stupid circles in New Jersey was much easier with it and I'm very glad I didn't settle on one...

    Shortage?

This is my perspective too. I can live without nav -if I had to - but I cannot give up bluetooth on a $40,000 vehicle.

    Shortage?

That's what I want. A V8 Limited with Nav. Oh, I can drive 40-50 miles to some creepy dealership and get one. I actually email these dealerships in the Philly burbs and they never even bother to email back. That doesn't exactly make me want to drive there to find out the vehicle on their...

    Shortage?

That may be part of the problem. I keep my cars for 8-10 years. When I buy a car, it's never impulsive. I want what I want. And I'm not really sure what lots you are looking at. But in the $40K+ vehicles I've been looking at, a vehicle without navigation is a rarity. Maybe I'm making the...
