I don't want to mount the rack the the cross bars because I think it looks "off" If I get the thule snowboard holder. Then I want to attach it to the base metal mesh so it's below the wind shield. Was just seeing if anyone else came up with an idea that didn't involve buying an additional rack.

What did I miss?

anyone have a good idea for carrying snowboards and skis??? I was thinking about getting a thule rack and mounting it to the mesh on the bottom, god forbid i mount it to the bars and make my vehicle any higher... I also though about maybe using pool noodles and the existing cross bars to...

thanks, I fixed it. I'll throw in some lug nuts too if you need them. I think I have all of the stock ones.
