    Thinking about trading

I traded in my 6 month old 2011 Sienna LE for a 2011 SR5. I was getting terrible trade-in quotes from Honda (considered a Pilot briefly). I went back to the dealership I bought the Sienna from, and they actually gave me a great trade-in and I paid below invoice for the 4runner. So, I felt like I...

    Tracking down interior rattles

4wd lever I sometimes stick small things (receipts, dunkin donuts gift cards, etc.) around the soft leather cover of the 4WD lever. That thing vibrates during normal driving, and I usually forget that so I'm constantly searching for a rattle/vibration somewhere near the passenger seat until I...

Roof Rack and Hitch Setups HERE!

Thule Atlantis 1600 XT cargo box Used my 20% member discount at REI this past weekend and bought the Thule Atlantis 1600XT for my 2010 4R. Was $589-20%. I could have ordered it online but glad I went to get it and try it out before buying. Here you see it on top - the front cross bar is all...

    Dual battery kit 5th gen

I'm probably going to do the dual battery setup eventually. But where are people running the power cables into the cabin? I installed a ham radio in mine and ran the 10 gauge cables through a small tube (had to cut off a small rubber nipple on the engine compartment side) that is part of the big...

    Handeling on 2011

I had both (as I mentioned). My daughter (also 5yrs old) was fine in the taco double cab. I had a tool box in the back but it was definitely a challenge to fit all my stuff into the Tacoma. I like the 4runner more because: - I can keep things in a rubbermaid (25 gal) in the back - more...

    Handeling on 2011

I have the 2011 SR5 with leather. I can tell you what my experience has been so far re: handling. It definitely handles more like a truck but I've been mildly surprised at how well it corners, or how flat it feels on turns (e.g. taking a highway offramp). Steering is very light compared to...

Roof Rack and Hitch Setups HERE!

Hi, this is exactly the cargo box I was looking for - wasn't sure it would fit properly without the lift gate hitting it. Glad I did a search :) A few questions: - I just have factory cross bars. Would you think those would work with the 1600? It looks like the Thule cross bars make the box...

    Husky Cargo Liner installed

I have the same as you. I got the Husky liners, and also the husky rear cargo liner. The front/2nd row liners fit nicely and they do keep all the winter snow/mud/crud in the liner. One other nice thing about the liners is that I can run a few wires under them and they're hidden and protected...

2011 Floor Liners - New Discussion Husky vs. WeatherTech

I received the Huskys and they're great - the fit was good. The rubber is harder than I thought (similar to my wife's Weathertechs, but a little more rubbery). Fit was good and they look good. Just in time for all the rain we've been getting! The cargo mat (for 3rd row) seems a little long and...

2011 Floor Liners - New Discussion Husky vs. WeatherTech

Just bought the Huskys from Amazon. $200 for front, 2nd, and cargo with free shipping (using Amazon Prime). I will post an update when I receive them, but from what I've read, I like the fact that the Huskys are more rubbery. Got the Weathertech digital fits for my wife's Volvo, and although...

    5th Gen T4R Picture Gallery

That Thule looks like it fits great - what model is it? Doesn't look like the rear door hits it. How easy is it to access?

Swap Stock for Michelin LTX MS2?

Got them for my 2011 SR5 I'm having the dealer swap out the Dunlops for the MS/2. I have these on my 1997 F150 2WD which had terrible tires on them previously when I bought it used. After putting on the Michelins, I thought I was driving a different truck! Can't wait to see how they perform on...

Last Minute Advice Needed - Tires

Getting the LTX MS/2 I just got my SR5. I'm waiting as we speak as the dealer swaps out the Dunlops with the Michelin LTX MS/2 in 265/70R17. Have these on my F150 and they really improved the ride and handling. Will post again once I take possession and put a few miles on them!
