Ok, today i took the over head console down and there isn't power running to the mirror or remote starter. remote starter runs along the top of the headliner and down A-Pillar. Now i need to figure out if I can just use that to power dash cam.
Can i tap into this for power?

I bought my 4runner base trail edition in 2016 with 4k miles on it. The previous owner installed a remote starter (module shown in pics). Fast forward to today and I'm trying to install a dash cam by using power from my rearview mirror. The problem is there are no wires/power to my mirror...
I have a 3" lift and occasionally tow a 5x8 utility trailer. I use this hitch and I've never had any issues with it.

excuse my ignorance but you were able to install these on a 2016 trail edition and now you have blind spot monitoring? All the wires necessary were already installed by the factory? I have a 2016 trail but its the "basic" edition
Stephan07, My son applied for a robotics job in Boston so this is more of a curiosity question. Is that surface rust and could they be sand blasted and powder coated again? His 4Runner has been in the south and we dont have snow and salted roads so I'm wondering what kind of issues he'll run...
I have 275/70/17 KO2's with a 3" lift and Camburg UCA's. They rub at full lock but with some minor trimming and a heat gun it was easily fixed. If I hadn't lifted it I would've went with KO2's in stock size. Just know the 275's only come in E Load.
