Hooray head gaskets I’m tearing into my 95 3.0 V6 now for a head gasket... looking at doing water pump/timing belt along with it Any and all advice appreciates :-) this feels like a big step after replacing the Starter motor last month or two

Forgot to ask, I assume I need to pull radiator to change out the water pump too right?

Good info Thanks guys, good stuff here and good pics. I blew my head gasket with 90,000 on a second timing belt. Debating fixing the gasket and selling it vs replacing the pump/belt as well and keeping it lol. Either way, this is my first real engine work.

Gives me hope. My wife’s 95 2nd gen just blew a gasket. Hydrolocked with coolant, now cleared out. Fortunately everything seems to be moving. Looking forward to the work.

I recently made this replacement in my 1995 V6 3.0. 4 hours to get it out, 30 minutes to put it in lol
