Personally I wouldn't do plastidip. Just get some SEM (SEM-39143). It matches perfectly to the trim OEM sheen. You can get a can off Amazon for ~$10-15. I think someone had a thread on here awhile back, but I just basically masked off the area using painters tape and a deck of cards to get clean...

TRD ORP is still the best value for what all you're getting. Only reason I'd spring for another trim would be exclusive paint.

That's a bummer Mutant :( I don't see why they're treating it as a warranty request if the part was mislabeled to begin with. Hopefully they'll make it right for you in the end.
