Lets at least try to do it right first by drilling clean, and buying from the middle east. If all else fails, your plan should be considered. :biggrin2:

Our 2005 Limited V8 4WD gets pretty bad mileage...17 hwy, 13-14 around town. BTW, I notice a bit more power and slightly better mileage using 89 or better octane. Its a great truck...just feed it.

Been trying to teach my wife this for 20 years. She gets it right about half the time.

When driving off, its just as important to put the truck into gear prior to releasing the parking brake. Otherwise you'll just lock the car on the tranny anyway.

I like #1, as the vehicle is resting on the parking brake, not the transmission. I dont like the third choice, on an incline, you are resting on the tranny.

Newbie here, but just wanted to say this is a great forum. Also wanted to tell you guys that after 4 yrs and 38k miles, I finally really love our 2005 4R Limited V-8. Its always been the step child of my fleet, but I just realized the darn thing looks and drives like the day I bought it...
