    Power antenna fix with pic's

It was probably cracked and held in place and eventually just fell down inside. Put some permatex on the threads and tighten down lightly and let dry. Other wise you will have to replace the hold thing.

Thread is so old they are no longer hosted. It's an easy job though. Just be careful with the plastic clip(s) near the running board.

Buzzing noise 1800 rpm in drive

Final Solution on my vehicle All the other things we did above only masked the real problem. Turned out it was the alternator that was the source of the noise. Replaced the alternator when needed and the noise was gone. Problem: noisy alternator. I should have posted this a long time ago.

If I remember right you need to look at the back. There should be some sort of clip holding it in place.

Re: HMMM Mine broke off at the mast but was reeled all the why inside. No way to get to it but to take the cover off the motor and take it out. Nevertheless, if you are able to get it out with just pliers than be sure what you pull out is equal in length to the new one. Just to be sure...

Idle Adjustment on 2nd Gen (1994)? Chilton says cannot adjust - computer controlled.

Thanks for posting that. I probably need to change mine. I've never done it. Then I will probably have to adjust the screw clockwise this time:D

Idle Adjustment on 2nd Gen (1994)? Chilton says cannot adjust - computer controlled.

Run the motor at 2500 rpm for a couple of minutes. Get a screwdriver and adjust the air/fuel mixture screw counterclockwise to get rpm up to about 800rpm. It may still resort back to a 500 rpm idle but it will at least have descent air/fuel mixture. The screw is easily visible to the left of...

    Power antenna fix with pic's

Yeah, I had to search the forum and stumbled upon it. Beware of putting the wheel well liner back in place. I cut the tip of my thumb pretty good. Had to wait for the bleeding to stop before I could finish the job. Also, on my 1990 I had to push a plastic square peg out from under...

Possibly. You can disconnect it at the transmission to see if that is it or not.
