Used a UV dye in my oil and drive around for a couple days. I have bad oil leakage on my new-to-me ‘96 4x4 SR5. Kind of a project car for learning and looking handy in front of the old lady.
Pictured is the passenger side of what I believe to be the head gasket. It’s leaking pretty decently...
Indeed, indeed. Thanks for the info. Adding those parts to my list. I think 2” looks great with 32” shoes. I’m around 85% city 15% off, so 3” with 33” doesn’t make as much sense.

While I decide what springs I want with 5100's, I realized that I need to replace the LBJ's.
While I'm down there, is there anything else that I may want to replace for a 2" lift?
I'm prepping to paint up a replacement driver-side fender myself. All other panels are fine. Found some decent 1A5 paint options. If it's that bad for the dune color, I'm not sure how to proceed.

Bought a ‘96 4Runner 4x4 SR5, glad to be in the community.
It has some oil leaks which I’m figuring out tomorrow with oil dye. However I can’t figure out where the car’s squealing is coming from.
The squeal happens when these factors are met:
(1) I’m going 25+ MPH
(2) I let off of the pedal OR...
