    How many miles on your 4runner?

    1999 SR5, almost 340,000 miles, still gets 20 mpg highway, it has the original fuel pump...perhaps I should change that.

    Missfire #3 - Possible sticky exhaust vavle?

    150,000 mile club

    The starter crapped out at about 200K. The toughest part of changing it was figuring out how to get the unbolted starter to clear the steering rack on its way out. One of the front sway bar end links broke at about 205K. It was severely corroded. They were easy to replace on both sides...

    I'm gonna hit 230,000 this week on my 99. Gonna do my usual 10K synthetic oil change and air filter which I've been doing ever since 70,000.

    Connecting Rod Bearing Replacement

    Its a Fram oil filter. Do you think the oil is draining out or something? It doesn't knock on hard accel. Actually it hasn't knocked since the weather has gotten warmer here in Ohio. The knock was most notable on cold morning (0 - 10 F). Thats great that you can pull the pan in-situ. thanks
