Ok ill give seafoam a shot. I replaced the coil on cyl 1 and swapped them around. See the OP.

I'll probably get flamed for this one but is it even worth bothering with fuel injector cleaners on the off chance it's plugged up? If so, which one should I use?

Educate me a little... how can the inject cause a misfire?

So a couple of weeks ago my 4Runner kicked a CEL of knock sensor bank 1 and cyl 1 mis-fire. I put new plugs, plug wires and a new coil on cyl 1 and took it to the dealership for 2 new knock sensors and the wiring harness for them. The last couple of days it started missing again and CEL says...

I don't have any trouble with the t-belt and water pump so far, I have replaced both of them once a few years ago however. Back in the good old days of college when I had time to wrench on it :(

See my answers above. I understand your logic, I'm just nervous about putting 2k into a 12yr old vehicle when I'm not sure how long it will last me. I've never had any other issues with it, however, I know once things start to mess up... they usually don't stop.
