10k on the tires so far. I actually like them more than I thought I would. I'll probably run them at least 2 more years. I don't do major offloading though, just gravel and dirt roads.

Great point here. You have to love what you drive. Also, make it your own. Whether that means crazy mods, stereo, stock but loved. Just enjoy it.

OP, I faced a similar decision last summer when purchasing my '17. I ended up ordering a 4x4 SR5P with 2 rows(Can't find 2 row black interior in TX, which is why i ordered). The locker was the only thing holding me up, but then I recalled my 8 years with my FJ(full-time 4x4, Manual, locker)...

My experience as well. Great brakes that have saved from a couple of fender benders. In my old FJ(manual, full-time 4x4), hitting the brakes on a bump would make the FJ skip a bit and cause the pucker effect if there was a car in front of me. T4R is night and day better in my experience.

This is just perfect! The car will last longer than you will :P Congrats! I hit 9500~ at the 1 year mark. I can't imagine putting that many miles down. Killing a car with great sales stats, an enthusiastic customer base, and good sale/resale values. That's just good logic. But seriously...

This is awesome! I feel like it's always a Tahoe or Range Rover. Nice to see a 4Runner in the movies. Also, is it bad to admit that I enjoyed watching the Jeep blow up? Not sure if it's like this everywhere, but around DFW Jeeps have become the worst eyesores imaginable.

I think this is a valid point, the convergence with some brands is real. Honda with a car/truck Ridgeline and the SUV/minivan Pilot is the perfect example. Side note, I read most of the stuff on Jalopnik and comment there occasionally. I think a lot of their readers say "minivan is always best."...
