2010 sr5 trade in value today

I think we're buying a new sr5 premium '22 when it arrives in April. We have a 2010 sr5 premium with 163k and it still looks great. The trade in offers were from $14,500-$15,000 which was somewhat surprising as I was expecting somewhere around 13k. The dealership that offered 15k, first offered...

    2010 4runner wheels harrisburg pa $250 17"

This was one of my worst ads. It's $250 for the set of four. On my local CL ad i had forgotten to say they were 17" I have really gotten lazy.

    2010 4runner wheels harrisburg pa $250 17"

These came off of a 2010 4runner and will fit many years. The shop who took the tires off scraped the one wheel so it had some curbage. They had it repaired and it looks great. Only one wheel looks brand new. The other three are still in great shape. No tpms are included. There are no bends or...

Can a tail light assembly really go bad?

It's fixed. I took out the tail light and bent out the tabs where the bulb made contact. I took some sandpaper and scuffed up the surface too. I figured a tail light can't go bad electrically, esp after seeing the wiring. I knew there was no possible way, it was too simple. Thanks all for the help.

Can a tail light assembly really go bad?

Thanks guys. I haven't had much time to monkey with it this week. I'll have to clean things out and do what you have suggested. It was the white bulb that wasn't working. I have replaced a lot of different stuff on our 2001 4runner in the past so i do all of my own work. I couldn't tell you...

Can a tail light assembly really go bad?

This could be what they were referring to. My wife had taken it in so they could look at it again. Since it's a 2010, it probably has the original taillight. This is the first time i have seen a bulb with this connection. I was a bit surprised to see a bulb in there without being attached to a...

Can a tail light assembly really go bad?

It was in for the state inspection and it needed the bulb to pass. I thought it was strange too. I'll have to check it out when i have time. I'm thinking that i need to clean the contacts on there.

Can a tail light assembly really go bad?

I had replaced a bulb a few weeks ago and then the dealer replaced it last week when it was inspected. That bulb went out again and they said that the assembly needs to be replaced. I wonder if cleaning the metal connections will do the trick or do these things go bad? If so, i need to buy a...

    Need new breaks and rotors?

NEVER buy the autozone or advance auto rotors. I had used them for several years on multiple vehicles with generally easy driving. They develop a shimmy and are not worth the cheap price you pay or the time required. Go by the other suggestions.

Poll: Toyota Extra Care Extended Warranty: Yea or Nay?

I skip the warranties on our Japanese cars. If you pay $1000-1500 for a warranty, the repairs seem to be much lower.

    New Fiamm Horn Install

I replaced mine this weekend. I was having issues using the relay and getting them to work. After seeing a video on a prius forum while searching "fiamm install", all they did was hook up the single wire that went to their old horn to the new one. of course you had to make a pigtail to connect...
