Nice! You definitely got lucky with that. Did you flush with OE red coolant or distilled water?

Good luck! The only issue I had with the entire process was getting the radiator hose clamps off. I probably should have gotten new hoses but so far no leaks after 5 months. Also I think I'm going to buy a tool for hose clamps.

Worked on the rear axle this weekend, pretty happy with the result. This is only after the Corroseal coat. Still needs Rustoleum and RP342 top coats. With that being said I'm never buying a vehicle that lived in the salt belt again!

I was thinking of redoing my entire hood. Have a ton of rock chips that are all the way down to the bare metal. I feel like it would stand out. Thoughts?

Sorry to hear that. I'm in MD too about undertake a manual rust removal and conversion then paint and rust prevention paint on top of that. Any photos of the worst spots on yours?

Replaced the radiator last week. Very happy I did this myself and did not have the shop do it for the quoted $950. Hardest part was removing the spring clamps off the radiator/transmission hoses. Took the money I saved and got myself some power tools to make future maintenance easier as well...

Once temps start warming up here I will be using Corroseal as the rust converter followed by a protective layer of Rustoleum then protected with RP-342 Cosmoline.
