    CV Joint Play

Yeah, that's definitely something I do on a regular basis, and this is a different noise/feeling as far as I can tell.

    CV Joint Play

Hey all, I've been trying to track down a intermittent "clunk" or "pop" sound that usually happens when straightening back up after turning from a stop. Like when taking a right or left at a stop sign. On occasion, it will also happen during straight line acceleration from a stop. I've replaced...

OME 895e and 6004 Rear Lift - Bouncy Ride

Did you change up the rear sway bar end links at all? 2nd gen links are an easy swap that add some extra length. Stock ones can be too short after a lift and cause the sway bar to bind, leading to a harsh ride.

    Rear ABS Harness Help

Hey all, I'm getting ready to replace my rear ABS wire harness due to stretched wires on the LH side. Anyone who has done this before, do you have any tips/tricks for unplugging the white plug at the end of the harness on top of the frame rail/upper spring perch area? It's hard enough to get...

    Normal RPM?

Well there is a whole procedure that needs to be followed for checking the level. The engine must be running and the trans fluid temperature has to be in a specific range. Sounds like you need to find a shop that knows what they're doing. Hopefully the pump they used wasn't a high pressure one...

Spark plug and ignition coil question

Not to be pedantic, but OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) would refer to someone like Denso, who was a manufacturer of original equipment for Toyota. The part would come in Denso packaging with a Denso part number. OE (Original Equipment) would refer to that same identical part, but in...

    Normal RPM?

Not per se, but he could have caused something that is preventing proper torque converter lockup.

Pretty disappointed in how rusted my Toytec Ultimate Suspension is

Out of curiosity, have you been through downtown Charleston since you've had those installed? There are certain streets that will flood with saltwater during high enough tides. It could be that you splashed through an innocent looking puddle and sprayed down the front suspension components. No...

Overdrive issues after timing belt change.

Overdrive is your highest (least RPM) gear. What you're describing is the transmission downshifting into a lower gear. It sounds like the shop who did your work may have left something unplugged. Edit: given that you had multiple cylinder misfires, I almost wonder if they have the timing off by...
