4Runner 5th Gen - Last of the Dinosaurs

Not changing a design is not alway a good thing. Especially, when your competition can change faster to industry trends. Look at Harley Davidson. Their sales are tanking while other brands, who saw the writing on the wall for the cruiser market, came out with bikes for the new upcoming...

    Should I sell my 4runner??

Did your friend with the Tesla happen to mention how much his electric bill increased charging that thing nightly? That’s the part people forget about. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Upgrade 2018 to Support CarPlay?

It would be if 4runners used Entune V3.0. Only Camry, Sienna, and Avalon got that privilege. I have not seen anything yet about V2 head units getting V3.0 upgrade, nor do I expect to. I’m looking at buying my wife a 2019 Highlander and can’t believe it’s using V2 still. [emoji26] Sent from...

What's your T4Rs missing feature or annoyance??

#1 Auto Climate Control. That’s been my biggest gripe since day one. #2. I really hate the position of the front floor vents. It takes FOREVER for my feet to get warm. With it being winter it’s fresh on my mind too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Real World MPG with 5th Gen?

I I religiously track my mileage. The 25mpg was highway at 65mph on pretty flat road. Hwy at 85-80mph is around 19mpg. I'm pretty dead on at 18.something around town and commuting. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    ANTMAN'S Thread

Antman, For the sub install, you didn't go into how you mounted the amp to the floorboard. I am assuming you just used provided screws? What about water sealing it? Maybe Velcro mount to carpet instead?

    ANTMAN'S Thread

I saw your post and decided to order one for myself. It is the Sound Ordnance B-8PDT. It is $149 at Crutchfield right now. It does not come with the free wiring kit at that price but they offer 25% off one if purchased with the sub. I got the EFX PA10BX wiring kit that has the split loom with...

    Anyone remember Statler toyota ?

My 1985 Toyota. I am the original owner too. It's the first vehicle I bought on my own. It only has 110K miles on it and doesn't get driven a lot. Especially after getting a 2016 4Runner.
