Hi everyone, I need to drop my height on my front MRA from 226 to 213. Has anyone successfully used spring compressors (like the SPC ones) to do it on truck? Thanks in advance

yeah i replaced all 3 and the tensioner while I was at it. Will probably have to change the P/S bearing, A/C bearing, and fan clutch at some point too lol

Turned out to be the top driver side idler pulley. Sound went away with new one.

replaced the damper and still hear the noise. Going to lift it this week and look for noises and exhaust leaks underneath. I do have a P0430 error code so it may be a manifold/cat leak. I put a stethoscope on the manifold and didn't hear it initially.

I put some mechanic stethoscope to it and it sounds like it's coming from the fuel lines and not the head. Might be the fuel pulse damper people have mentioned before. I'll try switching that out and report back.

Did you ever figure out what the issue was? I have a knocking sound on my 4.0 240k miles as well. It goes away after the engine is warm.

did you ever figure out what the problem was? I have a 4.0 240K. Just had the head gasket, timing chain, head resurface, valve job done. Notice this tick on start up and goes away after warm.

I have a V6 with 240k and have similar problems. Did you ever figure out what it was?
