I would jump on it. As the previous poster mentioned, doing the gear swap and locker install along is worth way more. Besides, 4.88 on 33s is too high IMO.. I've got 4.88s on 35s and it's just right. 456 seems like it would fit the bill just fine.

I've driven a couple of sequoias, and I will say that they feel like cars in stock form.. I've also heard that they perform quite well offroad for a family rig that size.

As the others said, leak is probably coming from the lines from the condenser to that dryer.. Get in there and look for some oily residue.. if not inject some die into the system.
