    275/70/17 Picture request!

Here’s what mine looked like at the time with General Grabber ATX 275/70/17 on TRD Wheels. Lift 2”F 1” R. No rubbing since the wheel size is 17x7 +4mm.

Ironman 4x4 Nitro Stage 2 Lift

I’m on the fence right now especially with Ironman’s 25% off Labor Day sale. I currently have 5100s and Dobinson springs for a front 2” and rear 1” lift. I know you said the ironmans felt stable and planted... I get this weird “floaty” or light as a feather feeling when driving over 60mph on...

What *in-stock* coilover options are available?

I’ll also say try Ironman. Plus they are currently having their frequent 25% off sale for Labor Day. I’m still on the fence on buying since I currently have a bilstein 5100 and dobinsons springs setup and I don’t know if I’ll see much of an improvement driving (on road) wise.

Thanks for this. I thought all I had around me were ORW and 4WP.

Dobinsons 5th Gen T4R Suspension options - from Exit Offroad

Thanks for posting this! I just bought the 300 and 599 springs but had no idea how they would look. I wanted a small lift, but with 5100s and 275/70/17 tires instead.

    275/70/17 Picture request!

Picked up General Grabber ATX in 275/70/17 for TRD Pro wheels on my SR5. Also getting Bilstein 5100s all around installed next week. I’m thinking about putting 2” springs front and 1.5” in the rear. Anyone have a side view of similar setup? I want the look of a slight lift, but I don’t want...

Dobinsons 5th Gen T4R Suspension options - from Exit Offroad

Thanks for the info, Mike. I've been leaning towards IMS since I wanted monotube struts, but a little over my price range. I'm definitely picking up the 302 & 325 springs. This way I'll have some spending money left in case I'll end up needing UCAs.

Dobinsons 5th Gen T4R Suspension options - from Exit Offroad

Thanks for the info and photo Nicakdemus! I'm leaning towards a similar route as yours now. And at least now I know I can just upgrade springs if I do decide to start adding more weight the ride.

Dobinsons 5th Gen T4R Suspension options - from Exit Offroad

Hi Mike, Found you all over the internet when trying to research Dobinsons. I’ve been looking to upgrade my stock suspension. There’s so many options, I’m not sure what I should pick up. I have a 2019 SR5P with 3rd row seats that get used occasionally fitting two adults (Asian so they fit...

    First Mod!

Nice. Interior and Exterior lighting are unfortunately a must upgrade for our trucks.

    Let’s Talk Speaker Impedance!

Oh wow didn't know all that. I just went about wiring my stuff like I usually do. Thanks for this. Where can I get more info on this? So I don't end up blowing speakers when I decide to upgrade again.

    Let’s Talk Speaker Impedance!

I used my multimeter. But before that I ran wires from the dash to my amp’s location(under driver seat). I wired the wires at the dash to a harness that connects to the stock harness and measured at the other end. You can also measure at the stock harness itself as long as you know which wires...

    Let’s Talk Speaker Impedance!

The fronts are actually 4 ohm and the rears are 8 ohm. I checked these when I hooked up a 5-channel amp because I wasn’t sure what the impedance the rears were since there are 4. Anyways you’re fine installing your aftermarket hu.

Anyone Install Component Speakers in a 5th Gen?

Didn't realize the placement of the sail panel and its small size until now. No way to fit any tweeters there. You are one brave soul to be drilling your door panels... Pillar-pods and plastic trims wouldn't hesitate, but damn. Good stuff!
