    Thank you very much. I just messaged him in regards to the issue. I was wondering if the job could be done from the top. I read that someone had the same issue as planning on going from the top and welding the new piece in.

    Yeah I knew of it but to be honest I wasn't really aware of the affected areas. I bought it from an original owner that owned it for 17 years but since I live in South Texas, he would go to the island frequently and with the poor design it just was a matter of time before it gave out.
