yup...i'm not the handiest of men or have a wide range of tools to do a lot of mods. i took off the spare and left the truck jacked up, so that i could do two wheels at a time. took a good portion of the day to do, but I like the look that you get w/o the lug nuts dipped.

Jim, that may have been my wife you seen driving my 4runner. I live in the Lynnwood area, and have a Silver trail w/ plasti dip on the wheels. Her normal commutes usually takes her on 36th ave. OP: I would suggest getting some FJ wheels/TE and just plastidip them first before powder coating...

i plastidip my wheels, but have yet to remove it. if you put a thick coat on it should be relatively easy to peel off. if there are parts that dont peel off, goo gone i hear works wonders as well.

I think it also depends on how your area will negotiate prices. I know up here in the NW, I just got done buying a 2011 Silver TE last night. I got it at invoice, but it took over 3 weeks of online negotiating and haggling. I would suggest reading the threads longballlarry posted. I read...

im so jealous...up in the NW for a 2011 TE with just KDSS and floor mats, its getting priced near $36.2k. I've been trying to to see if anyone will drop below this price and haven't had much luck in any dealer going under it.
