Bare minimum lift: 3.5" approximately. This is a pic of my rig with Trail Gear 3" springs, however I have 2 bottom leaves removed, otherwise I would have netted over 5" of lift from their 3" kit. Plus a lot of front fender trimming and the rear fenders are trimmed and tubbed.

Many of the 1st Gens need work, lots of work. My 1st gen was in fine shape body wise. The frame was undercoated 25 years ago so I lucked out. The engine starts well and runs well. But mechanically, everything was run down. Master cylinder, rotors, calipers, pads, break lines, wheel bearings...
