Dobinsons 2.5" F & 1.5" R is what I'm going with so I don't have to get new UCAs.

I used some blue Loctite on the cross bar screws when I installed my Prinsu rack. If I remember right, I also used it to hold down the wind deflector as well.

I have the Prinsu, full length non-drill rack. Really really happy with it and we have been getting hammered with rain the past 3 days here in north Georgia and not a drop of water has made it into the interior.

I used Permatex Ultra black when sealing my rack. Worked like a charm. I put a bunch in the OEM holes and on the bolt threads. Also used butyl rubber to seal the OEM hole locations.

This is the McMaster Carr part number for the silicone washers. They are UV and weather resistant. I used these and haven't had any issues. P/N 99604A123; 0.355" ID, 0.812" OD

Sherpa mounting design is WAYYYYYYY better than Prinsu. But it's around $1200 shipped.

Mine looked like that too before I installed the cross bars. The cross bars help pull everything all together. It's still a pretty crappy design for the mounting since all the weight is on those little spacers.

I'm really happy with my Prinsu full non drill rack. Just follow all the advice on here about how to keep it leak free and you should be good. :)
