Thanks. I am drooling over the Infinity REF623I 6 by 9s. I heard them at Best Buy and they had lots of midrange and treble.
They are rated at 94 sensitivity, 3 3/16 deep, and need an 8 7/8 cutout. They are around $150.
Is there a trick to putting this type of speaker in the 6 by 9 opening...
I briefly looked into replacing speakers.
Crutchfield told me that the stock amp/head unit with my 2007 SR5 really did not not have enough power to drive FRONT REPLACEMENTS.
i WAS ALSO WONDERING how the replacement speakers would work with the tweeters.
I'm not wanting th replace the head...
Am trying to decide if I can do this myself. I am a woman who is so-so in the mechanical department- but I am very patient, and can read directions.
Ne1 do this? I have a 2007 4runner. Some websites mentioned that the front bumper skin had to be removed to install on other makes of cars...
