    Replaced bulbs, still won't work Hey guys, this worked for my 4Runner, but my buddy's is still not working after bulbs. I used the Toyota OEM, he used #74 as mentioned on another thread. any Ideas?

    tip for opening cage On my "98 the cage has a tab on the far side, opens very easy once you move the tab in the right direction.

    Good info! This helped me big time! I want to buy you beers! *one thing to avoid is the center bulb socket on mine ("98) pushed through the housing when I was installing the bulb, some very careful work got it back without pulling everything out.

    So no balance issues? our 3rd gen uses lug-centric, I assume the newer ones do not?

    I'm always around 20-22 MPG and don't want to reduce it if I change wheels/tires. the Michelin I run are supposed to be the mileage winners.

    Did the newer rims eliminate the issues with balancing the older 6 spokes? that is my motivation to change to a modern OEM wheel.

    The Strongarms get great reviews but started getting weak the 1st cold days and now I'm noticing they have slowed in 60 degree temps.

    I went with a nylon bushing. found the right OD, drilled to get the ID needed.

    Hello blarchitect, the left end has a smooth dent, about 1/4 golf ball right in the corner, the right has a line, not scratch on it, not much rust anywhere, the vehicle was garage kept entire life. price $95.00 thanks!
