Carista is aftermarket. There are lots of aftermarket products that remove the ECO mode accelerator report rate. None of these things were previously mentioned as available to them by the OP.

ECO mode cannot be turned off, or adjusted, or reset. At most, you can turn off the ECO display on the cluster. You'll need an aftermarket throttle controller if you hope to remove the affects of ECO mode. Mine cost $50 on eBay, but I've seen a few much more expensive items that do the same...

You cannot turn off ECO mode. You can only turn off the display light, and/or connect an electronic device that removes the accelerator delay in the drive-by-wire system.

2014-2020 4Runners all suffer from ECO mode accelerator/throttle response electronic delay. 5th gen 4Runners are inherently more sluggish (compared to 4th gen) because of this induced lag by the accelerator. Somehow, most people on this forum are still acutely unaware of this design 'feature'.

THIS. This is just one of the many complaints I have with the 5th generation 4Runner. In addition to stuck filter housing, you'll also get stuck filter housing plug, and that's after you have to remove the skid plate and trim just to reach them. I could change the oil in my 4th gen in under 15...
