All of this you said helps! Actually, just yesterday all of the lights turned off. No more check engine, slip, and multi terrain. Now I'm scratching my head. Think I'll still attempt tobcheck everything mentioned so far

Dealer replaced plugs 24k miles ago. I was planning on picking up a coil from the dealer

Thanks I'll do this. As far as the ignition coils, internet shows just use a multimeter to see if it's bad? Have a copy of the toyota repair manual to guide me. Spark plugs were last replaced 24k miles ago. Forgot to mention my runner has been idling somewhat shakey at random times recently...

Thank you. This helps a lot. I rarely do any work on my Runner but am somewhat mech inclined so i will try and give this a shot. After the dealer gave me the estimate to replace LCAs, brakes, and rotors, i had to pass on it and plan to do it myself sometime.

The TSB says the bulletin applies to vehicles produced before the production effective change VIN JTEBU5JR#C5077980. My VIN is JTEBU5JR2B50#####. I would think this means I am eligible right? I'm assuming 'B' comes before 'C' as 4Rs come out of the production line. Can someone confirm this...
