My wife drives a GX460 (which is similar to the Toyota 4Runner in several ways), and I can confirm that the passenger mirror closes before the driver's mirror. I too agree that the driver's mirror on the GX has more arc to travel. Hope that helps.

For those of you that bought the screen protector for the head unit, is there any glare on the screen when the vehicle is out in the sunlight ? Does it help with glare or make it worse? Thanks!
