ya I'd have to agree with those who say you probably paid too much for this truck. I have had a 2000 RWD with 220k miles and in pretty close to perfect condition on the market for months and the best I have been offered is $5500.

I am going through his right now too. I just did the full valve cover job and now water pump is leaking. I am still chasing a small oil leak but at least it doesn't actually smell like burning oil every time I drive it like it did before the valve covers were done. It's a process.

Yes I replaced the cam seals, halfmoons, PCV gasket, and spark plug gaskets. I am still on the hunt.

... The white ball part doesn't seem like it should be that low and its obvious there is a ring of nice and clean metal just above it. Can anyone confirm if this is potentially a blown mount? Thanks!

Hello 4runner friends... It's been a week since I did the valve cover job. I cleaned the underside and wanted to know if I had any additional leaks (and also wanted to see if I messed up the valve job!). I couple people gave me opinions that I have an oil cooler leak and/or a Main gasket leak...

I finished the valve cover gaskets job today! Feels good and so far the car has not blown up - lol Problem is... I think it's still leaking oil. Maybe the oil pan gasket? Either way it was WAY obvious the valve cover gaskets needed to be done so at least I have eliminated that oil leak cause.

F-YA! The Dremel did it!!!! I felt like a dentist in there with the drill and the mirror. Only took about 3min of shaving it down and then the "built in washer" ring just popped off. Thanks everyone!
