check the heat shields around the exhaust. Mine was doing the same thing and i went under and bent the shields away from the cab of the truck and it fixed it!

Mine did the same exact thing. I got under there with a big rubber mallet and beat on the actuator, I guess it was just gunked up. Works every time now. Just make sure you exercise it periodically

ok so my 07 limited still wont chirp on lock or unlock, Ive taken my piezo out and tried it on my buddys truck and it works fine, and ive disconnected the battery for about 30 mins to try to undo any factory settings that might have been changed. I dont know what else to try. Any help would be...

So I changed out my piezo with my sisters 4runner and it works fine. I also disconnected my battery for about 45 mins to try to reset the computer does anyone have any other ideas i can try to get this thing to work???

just bought an 07 with 80k as well 4wd wouldnt work. I went underneath with a rubber mallet and beat on the 4wd housing and it finally freed it up enough to work. Its worth a try
