I've done it, do some research on this forum... I think your question is too broad, hence why no one has responded. You'll need to put up which year, model, JBL or non-jbl, ect, ect. I have an 06 non-jbl sport and installed an E7008 Nav unit in mine.

Good start to your research! I know it can be a little overwhelming and I was in your shoes a few months ago, but it is worth it in the end. Some of the info you'll find is a bit dated and the process is easier than you think. Finding the E7008 Fac Nav I wanted was the most difficult part...

It will work in your 2003. It was pulled out of my E7008 Nav Unit from a 2007 4Runner so it will be an update for you.
