I ended up cutting some of the length off the end of the insert did not seem to make any difference last 3 + years, my winter D ring insert was short enough it did not need to be cut off. Doug

I have a 2003 with 4wd and the V6 90k miles still think it is the best vehicle I have had yes has had noisy sunroof cable but had it adjusted no other issues other than normal stuff, brakes tires etc. Doug

my 03 had Bridgestone Duelers on it when I bought it they were helpless in rain or mud put on Toyo Open Country's and have not had any issues in any condition so far dry, snow, rain, mud goes anywhere I have tried to go. Doug

my 2003 right front bearing sounds like it is going. at 90k just suddenly started hearing it recently.

I had one of the rubber blind rivets that suddenly would not fold the drivers side end up. Toyota re installation kit was to expensive about $65.00 found a box of 25 for about 6.00 at McMaster Carr. They are 1/4" with brass threads and take a 6-32 screw. Doug

suroof I have had mine get out of adjustment and not open or close right, tries to go to far and hear a crunching sound, had also had the cables rattle. Have not heard of one shattering. Would guess something had already chipped it and it just let go.

reset oil change light turn key on and set so the odometer is showing not trip a or b turn key off then hold the reset button and turn key back on hold for 3-4 seconds maintenance light will go off for about 7500 miles.

I bought a 12" extension at the auto parts store for @ $4, seemed to be the easiest solution.

maintenance the 4.7 v8 has a timing belt, they recommend that it be changed 90k, coolant 60k, Trans fluid says only change if towing frequently Doug

the v6 has a timing chain The V6 has a timing chain so there is no need to change it. If you are not going off road or in an area where you will get in snow 2wd should be ok
