I understand from reading other posts the 265x70x17 can rub with 4th gen 2wd 4runners but not with 4wd. Also understand speedometer will be off and towing is not optimal because of the extra inch this size offers. Otherwise a lot of forum members seem to like the extra height and look.

Michelin LTX MS Here is a pic of the LTX MS ... a tire I once uses on another SUV and was very impressed with ... only problem was stopping on highway ... not exactly the best at that ... something Consumer Reports also found out ... otherwise gas mileage was great and so was the ride.

Michelin Here's a pic of the tire. Read on another forum that its Michelin's latest version of the LTX MS tire but sold only at Sam's Club, Walmart and Costco ... for a dollar less than the comparable LTX MS ... noticed it has six ribs instead of the five for the LTX MS.

2009 4runner saw what may be the 2009 4runner today in san diego county. first thing i checked was the rear suspension ... it was independent and looked like aluminum components... it looked a lot like the Highlander on steroids...although it had michigan plates i saw some of the same molding...

Derlowe i have the results as you...after 6 months its getting annoying and mpg's are not better...power is there after 2500 rpm and seem to have lost some low end hp and torque and gained some low end growl that is annoying. Maybe TRD cai is a better fit for the 4.0 V-6. Hope this info helps.

I agree save your money i have the true flow on my '06 4.0 V-6 and although it gives a lot of boost at the high end i pay dearly with an annoying noise at the low end...maybe the trd cai has a better sound than my true flow...i am thinking about re-installing the stock system. Good luck on...
