2004s: is rear air suspension worth it?

4runner is available with remote start?? that would be pretty darn sweet!!!! in jersey weather, it would be very useful to have the car running for a bit to either warm it up in the winter or cool down the interior in the summer... yea, i would expect JBL speakers should be ok... but there...

    Is $29754 a good deal for 2k4 4Runner 4x4 v6 Sport Ed.?

nice! i think the noise is characteristic of this particular v6, from what we hear on the board. the v8 does purr, though :)

2004s: is rear air suspension worth it?

sorry about the lexus comment. i was sure, though, that i heard it was built for lexus cars. i guess in japan, it's all the same. so im not the only one on the JBL thing. i was under the impression that audiophiles frequent JBL products. The only reason I'd get the JBL system is because...

2004s: is rear air suspension worth it?

thank you, arouth! yes, i will certainly get the v8: that i was sure of from the get-go. first, it's lexus-designed/built. second, it's got a LOT of power and is very soft and refined at the same time. third, it comes with a very sweet 5-speed tranny. i have to say, it's one of the best...

2004s: is rear air suspension worth it?

thanks yea... i am tempted about the fully loaded Limited, but i cant afford it... sport edition sounds pretty darn good, except i'd really love to have the navi and the back-up cam. :) choices choices... excellent truck, though. when you drive it, it pretty much rides like a car, while...

so is the rear air suspension option useful for improved ride or handling, or is it only useful for carrying heavy loads or towing?

Why did Toyota lower the headroom ??

i only wish the telescoping steering wheel was actually useful... they made telescoping length so friggin short that it almost makes the feature obsolete for me. i wish they had volvo's telescoping length. oh well. one can fit anyhow, i agree.

2004s: is rear air suspension worth it?

hi... i am trying to come up with the budget for the 4Runner and trying to decide which options I want or should get. originally, i was thinking sport edition, but after i drove the limited with its leather, nav, and back-up camera, i think i want the limited. so the question: is it worth...

Why did Toyota lower the headroom ??

Hi, I am 6'0 also. I sat in the Limited and drove it a couple times, and with the proper seat height adjustment, there is no problem. I was surprised that when I first sat down, my hair brushed the headliner (and yes I have very short hair, so no haircut comments please). Yes, the car has a...

    Towing with '03 or '04 4Runner

Oh I see... Well, if the trailer brakes are required by law for trailers over 3000, then the U-Haul tow dollies and car carriers must be grossing out below that... I don't know.. It's great to hear that the 4Runner could do 4700 lbs without brakes :) That is... wow.

    Towing with '03 or '04 4Runner

I don't own a 4Runner yet - I was just wondering about its capabilities. I forgot to ask the salesperson about this, so I thought someone might know or might have tried this. Land Rover is rated for like 1,600 lbs without brakes, so I would think the 4Runner won't be much more than 2000 or...
