i haven't came on here in a long time, sold the runner and got a Bronco 2, i am admin over at BroncoII-Ranger.com so i am mostly ford now.

a friend of mine is a manager at Cheveron and he says that a lot of stations around here are closing because they refuse to pay the price that they are being charged. we are at 2.94 for reg and 3.19 for diesel. its going to cause a trucker strike and then we will se what happens.:mad:

whats with the high miles between oil changes, 3 to 5000 miles is comon sence, any gas motor leaves gasses in the oil that need to be removed and if the oil looks great after 10,000 miles, whats it doing in there, surly not cleaning and protecting. i spent alot of years tearing down motors that...

first gen owners i see alot of talk about the newer runners but not alot about the later ones, just wondering how many people here have the older ones, 89 and older.

after using and comparing several oils in my quarter mile camaro, i stick with castol and fram filters, i am going to switch to synth on the next oil change in my ranger and isuzu along with the runner, but, castrol.

i like it here, not alot of wheelin except for the dunes but i don't really like the sand, seems to get in everything, its really hard on bearings.
