Just installed mine as well. I did not remove the bumper. I assume your troubles are that the plugs don't seem to fit? I had similar issues. Seems like they dont, but they do. Just make sure it's lined up correctly and just give it a good push.

Also called hydro dipping. The firearms industry has been doing it for years.

I feel like with the LED rear running lights, the incandescent license plate bulbs just look out of place. Bought these today. Local chain auto parts store. $15.00 No flickering, NO bulb out warnings. Work perfectly. Enjoy.

It was custom cut for the fogs. Light output is not noticeably less than stock, just yellow.
