Jeep Gladiator Owner Claims Dealer Voided Warranty After He Drove Through Mud

Most warranties include exclusions for "abuse," which is intentionally broad language. This is also included as a cause for restricting the warranty as what happened here. I am sure there is an argument to determine what constitutes abuse, but to the average person driving through a foot of mud...

whats the best exhaust systems for 4th gen?

I installed the stainless steel Gibson with dual side exhaust. It has really good sound - rumble while idling, quiet for daily driving, and more of a roar when accelerating/downshifting.

How is "distance learning" going for you and your children?

Schools here have been doing a mix of online and in-person. In-person seems to be going well for elementary students. Middle school and high school seem to be doing OK online. As a parent it is a tough decision to balance the education of children and the risk health concerns. For online class...

The proverbial you cant out train a bad diet. Lifting 5 days a week with splits depending on periodization. Six weeks in hypertrophy, six weeks in strength, and six weeks in weight loss. Generally my split is Chest/Abs, Squats/Quads, Back, Deadlifts/Hamstrings, Shoulders/Arms. In the weight loss...

Interesting look back. Still a ways to go for China to surpass the US in nominal GDP, but they have in the PPP adjusted. Their economy continues to grow faster, though. Countries by GDP: The Top 25 Economies in the World

Will you keep your 4runner if gas hits $8 a gallon?

Interesting thoughts on this. $8/gal gas for an extended period of time would probably lead to some pretty big changes in transportation - at least in less urban areas. My 4Runner would get a lot fewer miles and I would look at different options. I agree with Jay Leno that no matter the price at...

    Insurance Coverage

Definitely need to be truthful in the insurance app to preserve coverage in the case of an accident. The insurance company has probably paid claims that resulted from poorly done modifications and determined it was no longer profitable to do so. Just like most industries insurers are looking at...

    Removing running boards on 04

I really found the running boards to be a nuisance - they mainly just got my pants dirty getting in and out. Then one day during a snowstorm my rear to wheels slide off the road and the running board was bent on the shoulder of the road. I ended up leaving them on for the extra layer of protection.

    300k daily driver

That is awesome. Have you had any major mechanical issues that had to be addressed? I assume you are on your fourth (third replacement) timing belt?

    FINALLY got my 4Runner!

That is a nice rig! I had a really hard time finding mine as well. It is crazy how well the well maintained Toyota's hold their value.
