I've never owned anything carbureted but I hear they are easier to work on being less electronic and all. If you are carburetor savvy at all you should be just fine. :) and those 22r/re motors are both bulletproof lol.
Thanks drtyjerz!! I have done most of the major stuff, I work at a parts store so luckily I can find most everything I need pretty easy! Have a Toyota tech that's gonna do my timing belt on the side for cheap (he even drives a 3rd Gen himself) and gonna get the compressor done as soon as it gets...

Thanks y'all! I changed plugs, wires, intake gaskets and valve cover gaskets, belts, and a few other things. Gonna get timing done soon and ac compressor too! Good news is I'm the 2nd owner of this beast, I was surprised!
