Need running board recommendations for elderly parenrs

6th Gen is brand new, so it'll be a few until more running boards show up. quick search shows some from CBI (a good company): CBI Rock Sliders for 4Runner (2025-Current) — 4Runner Lifestyle

How many hours of labor to install rock sliders?

It's not much more difficult with KDSS. I installed mine, by myself, in less than two hours by just laying on the ground. The only tools you need are a 13 mm socket, a socket wrench, and some wobbly extensions. Very easy and straightforward. Find a shop that will do 2 hours labor. That is much...

Rear Window Console Switch Not Working ...

your windows are probably locked on the drivers side control panel. When engaged, only the drivers window will operate from the controls.

Both Rear Upper Control Arms Sheared off? WTF!

I'm going with no grease and 150+ lbs. ft of torque on those bushings. Basically made it a solid upper link on the axle side with no up/down or flex. Metal finally gave at the weakest part. Make sure you watch or trust your installers, lol. Good luck out there!

Bolt on Pan hard correction Kit BOPCK

VERY nice. Unless you come from the XJ/TJ and up market, you likely have no idea what a panhard bar even does, lol. But, being able to keep the factory bar, and keep the axle centered under the body, will be great. The bolt-on is a GREAT idea. Good Luck!

KDSS ride more firm vs. non-KDSS

Yeah, I'd say KDSS is great for everything EXCEPT any time you are going between 12 MPH and 25 MPH on a crappy surface (city streets, dirt, etc.). Then, the stiffness from the larger-diameter anti-sway bars is really noticeable. Heck, I'll often make sure I slow down to 8 mph when making a turn...

    Toyota OEM Rock Rails

Hmmm.. There used to be an OEM Rock Rail thread with over 12 pages... but it's gone. Odd. Anyway, I've got them. They bolt to the frame with 6 bolts per side, are tube steel, and cannot be used for a step. They work with KDSS. I would not trust them to take the weight of the vehicle against...

Steering wheel doesn’t go back to centre position after shocks and UCAs upgrade

Sounds like you just need to adjust the tie rods. Shop should have done this, but you can, too: How to Center my Steering Wheel

Rear facing car seats, tall driver

I'm 6'4" and have twins. Both seats are rear-facing. I have plenty of room behind the driver and passenger seats. I took the car seats to the dealer and tried them in the back. The tilt of the rear top bench helps with their leg room. Seats are Graco 4-1 forever.
