I got rid of my dunlops at 18k miles because they were kinda not great in rain and poor off road. The sidewalls started cracking too so that was enough of an excuse to upgrade for me.

Just wanted to update this thread, I ended up getting another set of 5100s for the front and installed them yesterday. Same factory springs, same 0.85" ride height setting. Everything torqued with all tires on the ground. Truck just rolled 30k last week so I'm hoping this will last longer than...

I have Michelin Defenders on both my 4Runner and Land Cruiser. Load range E on both. They do surprisingly well off road. I used to buy all-terrains but now I’m just using these. Super quiet on the highway, hard to beat in the rain and even light snow.

That's all it was. I just adjusted it until the hood wouldn't close and then backed it off a bit. All the panel gaps with the grill and fenders remained the same. It's amazing how bad the lower shock bushing can get without making any noise. Mine was torn all the way through. But was still...
