Maybe things have changed, I haven't painted cars in 15 years but we would always refuse to paint "Crome" metal or plastic because it would eventually flake off, I would, and plan on my rig, just removing the Crome all together.

Do you think the xreas with spacers is worse ride than full suspension, shocks and springs, with upper control arms?
I'm not looking for budget as much as better ride, if the xreas with spacers and upper control arms provides a better ride than I think I would stick with that until they go out.
Anyone heard or thoughts on the tuff country #54916 leveling kit? Comes with upper control arms and rear springs, I called them up and they said it was compatible with xreas. I have a 2011 limited that needs new shoes. The xreas works fine with 130k on it should I be worried that it will fail...
