The tires are fine. I have no complaints about them at all. At the time, there were not that many options in the 275/70/17, but now that has changed. I also ended up going with Falken Wildpeak Atw3s on the 5th gen and they have been great as well.

BigT42, Welcome! I'm in Athens. Unfortunately there are not a ton of places to go. Durhamtown is a option, but it is muddy. Check out Trailsoffroad.com. This site has a lot of trails in North GA mapped out. Also, if you ever want some company let me know. I would love to go out and ride around.

Picked up a 5th gen last Friday, 2017 sr5 4wd. This will accompany my 3rd gen nicely. And the first "mod" was to remove the running boards.
