I'm finding reasonably priced suspension component take-offs from the new 2024 and later Tacomas. I know they are not a direct drop-in for the 4th gen 4Runner, since they have a 4-bolt top hat. However, would they otherwise work if I bought the appropriate new top hat? Thanks.

Awaken, oh ancient thread. Given that OEM Tacoma take-offs are now running a minimum of $400 (at least that I've seen), is this still the best option, given what's available new in the aftermarket? Not looking for big lift or off road performance, just economically replacing an aging XREAS...
