I also found out the hard way
Just got my GTR Ultra 2.0 for my 2015 4-Runner. All went fine until I got to the driver's side light bulb. The fan part is too fat to fit under that bump in the housing. Starting to sound as if 5th generation is not all the same for all of the various years...
