    Nitto Ridge Grappler?

Just got my 255/80 tires today. With the rain here in San Antonio today I did not slip and slide like my old S/T Maxx tires. They almost feel softer than the Coopers too, but I only have a few miles on them so it's too early to be sure.

Most budget "Overland" / camping trailer

I have been keeping an eye on these trailers. Recently they have built an overland type of trailer. These are basically an enclosed trailer but they do have lots of potential for a great build. Exhaust w/ high clearance rear bumper...

I just finished doing this to my exhaust, I cut it about 2 inches out from the last hanger. The exhaust pipe now sits tucked out of the way. My exhaust has been bent and kinked so I think mine actually sits higher the others with the SSO bumper. It was really easy to cut with a sawzall.

What did you do to/in your 5th Gen today?!

Camburg UCA Maintenance I over greased my UCA bushings causing them to deform when tightening the nut on the through bolt. After some research I found that removing the zerks would allow the extra grease to escape. Lesson learned here, less is more when greasing the bushings. Two or three...

Southern Style OffRoad Group Buy - 5th Gen 4Runner Rear Bumper

Show me your gaps. I received my bumper a few weeks ago and slowly have been doing the install. Overall I'm very happy with this bumper it's very well built. There were a few issues along the way but Kevin took care of everything very quickly. He even added the Antman cup holders to the filler...

Who has done a 1/2" body lift

HODOR Build I read lipek's SSO rear bumper install a few weeks ago and remember him adding the added the 1/2 inch body lift. I think the same guy that sells the body lift also helped him with the bumper install.

Has anyone powder coated Inferno yet?

Powder Coating Colors I too was looking at body matching the SSO bumper but decided to go black. Here is a link to some orange powder coating. The inferno code is is 4x0 not too sure which one matches up. Choose wisely and post pics.

Expedition Overland returns to the MacKenzie Trail

Mirrors One thing I thought was funny was with all the money they receiving from Toyota they couldn't swap in the RAV4 side mirrors. All the trucks were rocking AutoZone special blind spot mirrors.

5th gen Wheel well apron (liners) identical to 4th gen?

Are these really needed? Mine squeak so bad from the plastic push pins rubbing. I have thought of just removing them but wasn't sure.

    Please help!

Maybe you can find another 5th gen on base and ask if they would lend you their crossbars. As long as you're not PCSing and coming back in a few weeks, I don't see why someone wouldn't help out.

Do you have any details on how you cut the frame? Just wondering if you used the same as Fargo or tried something else.

We had a little storm last night, the 4Runner took a bit of damage...

Hail in San Antonio Last year there was a hail storm here in SA about pea size. The next day I inspected my truck for any damage and saw none, but a few month later I was washing her and saw my passenger side was damaged. To see the dents natural light has to hit it just right to see. I didn't...

    Screwing around

Here is a pic of the bracket. Looking at other designs they use a normal bolt, but these are countersunk. The length, I am not sure. The bracket is 1/2 thick maybe another 1/2 so I would have enough threads engaged.
