thanks for all the info guys im going to drop the pan and clean it out and test the solenoids

i just got a 1993 toyota 4runner automatic about 4 months ago and now after driving it about 4 hrs my transmission feels like its on4wd...gears wont change after the second one..first time with a 4runner so i would like some help..thanks
