I recently bought a 2005 T4R SR5. I am just asking, but why would you want to disable the TPMS? Seems like a bad idea to tamper with a system designed for safety. :shrug:

I am in a similar situation. I recently bought a 2005 T4R SR5 with 172K miles. I will be taking it in to a local mechanic for a full check up. They will spend about 1.5 hours going over the whole vehicle and recommend what needs to be done by importance, 1-5. 1 being needs immediate...
