Has anyone figured out what part is causing them to partially retract or extend? Thing tried to eat my wifes foot the other day so now I have the job of figuring it out. It would be cool if you could point me in the right direction.
They finally figured out what digital version/update I need. So now they have to "send off" for an access code. It will take a week.
Why in the hell does it take a week? It's not like they have to wait for a snail mail CD, right? It's a digital upload.
Thanks. That's great info, but ridiculous. I'm an airplane mechanic, so I understand wading through BS. Any time I have to do something like that, I have one of my mechs sit with me to learn about it. Guess I'll see what happens Monday. :rtfm:
The reason I'm trying to figure this out is that I'm taking it in Monday for the 25k service. The last time I took it in I requested the update. "They only have one guy who can do this update, and he wasn't there". I want to make sure that guy is there when I go Monday. Just wondering if...
The dealer asked for the part number on the faceplate of the radio. I gave it to them : P10121 : and they say thats not a number that toyota lists. He gave me four numbers (two started with an E, the other two I don't recall). Anyone else have this problem?
