I've been looking for about 4 months and looking every day for the last month. I checked out a few that were either beat to hell or waaay over priced. I'm happy that I was patient and got what I think was a good deal for around here, a super clean 2002 Sport with 151k for $6200.

Thanks. I'll try these suggestions. I did try putting it in 4x4 on dry pavement with the center diff locked. I only went in a straight line at 5mph. It definitely steered heavier and engine response changed. I'll try it again and go around a corner and see if it binds. Thanks for all the responses.

Okay, good to hear that you all concur that the lights are burnt out or otherwise not getting power. I'm going to test out the 4WD on some easy trails this weekend.

How can I verify the front wheels are getting power?

How nOOb friendly is a trip like this? I just got my '02 SR5 4x4 Sport Edition yesterday. I've done my share of motorcycle off roading but not too much 4x4 off roading. Taking trips like this is why I bought a T4R. Thanks. -DHR

I'm in the same boat (as it were). Manual cloth seats in my '02. I'd love it to be an inch or two lower. I look forward to your update/pics when you get the new seats. -DHR

Hi- I've been lurking on here for a couple months. Just bought my first T4R today. 2002 4x4 Sport Edition. I'm very happy to have found this at a reasonable price for this area. I've already learned a lot here and I look forward to learning much more.
